Don't worry about it. It's exactly how I expected things to go. For months, I wasn't planning on going back at all after I'd taken care of things.
Though, having seen how it is here, I do worry about him.
[It had never seemed unusual that Spider-Man was the only superhero they had, before. That's just how the world was. But having seen and heard about how it can be to have teams of them - having heard how horrified some people are to know that he's alone back there - it does cast things in a different light.]

Look at it this way: I know he's going solo back home, but supervillains aren't very common over there either, right? Plus, he already has a pretty good track record. And maybe there are more hero-types out there who just haven't popped up yet.

That's true. But looking back on it, I think he was still struggling.
[But that's entirely due to his knowledge of Peter Parker, not Spider-man. While he trusts Doreen, that's slightly dangerous conversational territory.]
The future version of him I met seemed fine, though. I guess he must've worked it all out eventually.
Well, maybe I'll check in on him some other time. It'll be easier now - Balthier got one of those illusion devices working! I've been using it to go out, it works remarkably well!

Not yet! My understanding is that they process them as a very large backpack, or maybe a mobility aid - nothing they would think about too closely either way. It just makes you unremarkable.
Possibly one of those large hiking ones. They don't retract that much.
One of many design decisions I would have made differently, if I'd known I'd end up using them like this. Forget daily use, they were never really even supposed to be taken outside of a controlled facility.
