And...yes, none of that sounds particularly acceptable to Otto. He had a fairly ordinary childhood, all things considered. So many other people here didn't, like it's a common factor in Confluence selection or something.]

I don't know that I'd have listened. I hadn't planned to go to work, I just got bored and the texts came and the idea of seeing another city with a magical device to zap me there was too appealing to resist.
